FedEx Shipping:
- Shipping times vary based on the option selected at checkout. Overnight orders must be placed by 11 am MDT in order to be shipped and delivered overnight on the next business day. orders placed on friday will be shipped the next business day, as fedex does not deliver on saturday and sunday.
Do you offer shipping protection?
yes, we do! you can protect your order by adding shipping protection at checkout for $1.98. modern+chic is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, so in the case that your package is lost, stolen, or damaged and insurance was purchased, please contact us at hello@modernandchicboutique.com to arrange a replacement. replacements will be arranged 10 business days after confirmation of delivery. a mis-delivery can often resolve itself in this time frame.
Can you update my shipping address after my order is placed?
please double check your shipping address before placing your order. we are unable to edit your shipping address after the order is placed.

We currently only ship within the united states and to canada.

how can I track my order?
all customers are sent an order confirmation email after placement and several shipping confirmation emails. these will be automatically sent to the email address you provided at checkout when your package reaches certain milestones (such as "shipped" or "delivered" status). each of these shipping emails contain a link to track your order.
if you believe you haven't received these emails and you have already checked your spam folder, please email us at hello@modernandchicboutique.com so that we can update the email address you provided at checkout and resend them to you.
please note that most orders take 2-3 business days to process and, once shipped, take an average of 4-8 business days to be delivered after they've been picked up from the courier.
help! my order was marked as delivered, but i don't have it.
you'll receive an email when your items have been delivered. this is an automated message passed on to us and then to you from the courier.
if you received a delivery confirmation, but do not have your items, please don't panic! sometimes the couriers may mark your delivery as completed, while the item is still on the truck. please note that we recommend waiting 10 days for a package to be received after being marked as delivered, as issues often resolve within that time.
here's a list of common reasons you may have gotten a delivery confirmation without having your items in hand:
1) the courier may have tried to deliver your package(s), but was unable to leave them in a safe spot. in this case, they will either notify you with instructions on how to get your package, or will most likely to deliver it again the following day.
2) your package could have been delivered to a neighbor. please check with them to see if anyone has received your order by accident.
3) your package may have been stolen from your porch or mailbox. while we maintain that we aren't responsible for stolen packages, we want to help in any way we can! please reach out to us if this is the case.
